Miriam Tice, EISP Coordinator, GRASP Advisor

Miriam works part-time coordinating the GRASP Education Improvement Scholarship Program (EISP), which allows students with learning differences from low- to moderate-income households to receive scholarships to attend accredited K-12 schools. Miriam is also in her ninth year as a GRASP advisor; currently, she works at three alternative schools in the Richmond area and assists adults, students, and students' parents with FAFSA completion at the Richmond Belmont Library in the evenings during “FAFSA season” (October through March).

Miriam is a former PTA President. Other past volunteer roles include serving as president of her neighborhood women's organization and chairing her church's annual parish retreat. She and her husband have two children in college. She is a VCU graduate (cum laude) and Dale Carnegie graduate.
