Andrea Pearson

Andrea Pearson is the GRASP Advisor for John Marshall - jmarshall@grasp4va.org

Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree in public administration with an emphasis in financial management from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. She has extensive experience working in consulting and government finance and has worked in the private, public and non-profit sectors.  Most recently, Andrea was a Senior Financial Services Manager at the Virginia Resources Authority.  Andrea left that position in 2023 to spend more time with her family, including her wonderful husband and four kids.  She began serving as GRASP Advisor for John Marshall High School in 2024 and is happy to be returning for the 2025-26 school year.  Over the years, Andrea has been actively involved in the community, including serving as a CASA volunteer, volunteer for Communities in Schools Richmond and AmeriCorps.  She loves to play sports, hike, read, and spend quality time with family and friends.
