Charlene McQueen is a retired media specialist/ middle school educator with 32 years of experience in Richmond Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, Master of Divinity from Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a Library Science Certification from UVA College @ Wise.

Charlene McQueen enjoys working with young people and is very excited about being a GRASP advisor. It has been a desire for many years to assist young people to prepare for college and life after high school once she was retired.

Charlene is married with two adult sons and loves water aerobics.
