Christina Pysher

Christina Pysher is the GRASP Advisor for Heritage High School - heritage@grasp4va.org Menchville High School - menchville@grasp4va.org

Christina graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2015 with a B.S. in Biomedical & Mechanical Engineering.  Following graduation, she moved to Virginia to work at Canon Virginia Inc.(CVI) in the Medical Research & Development department.  Alongside her engineering role, Christina served as the Chair of the Women in Leadership Levels program at CVI and worked as a Program Manager for The COACH Program supporting young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  In 2022 Christina graduated from ODU with a Masters of Engineering with a focus on Molecular Diagnostics.  In 2024, Christina took a step back from engineering in order to pursue a career that is more person centric.  She enjoys using her engineering problem solving skills to help those around her. 

In addition to being a GRASP advisor, Christina works as a postpartum doula, assisting families in the transition to parenthood. Christina has 2 young kids and enjoys adventuring with them.  In her spare time she likes to go hiking, travel to other states, and visit Busch Gardens.
