Conchy was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She attended Syracuse University, where she obtained a B.S. in Communications with a Minor in Psychology. After college, she moved back to Puerto Rico and worked for Picker International Del Caribe, a medical equipment manufacturer and distributor, in the Marketing and Sales Department. Back in the states, she worked for the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA), first as Subscription Sales Coordinator and later as Marketing Contracts Administrator. Since moving to Richmond 19 years ago, she's been active in a variety of volunteer positions including P.T.A., and with organizations like FeedMore, BARK, and Henrico Christmas Mother. She is currently serving as a Trustee at The Steward School.
Conchy and her husband Harold have two college age children and two dogs. She enjoys traveling with her family, playing tennis, exercising, and reading. Conchy is excited to be joining GRASP and serving as liaison between the organization and the growing Hispanic population in the Greater Richmond Area.
