How did GRASP and its advisors help you in high school/college?

My high school GRASP advisors were amazing they guided me in every step it took for me to attend college. They helped me see the bright future that I had beyond high school.

What are you doing now?

I recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and got a job as a pre-k dual language teacher.

What one piece of "educational advice" would you give to high school students?

An advice I would give to High schoolers would be to remember that college is an option and that you should always ask no matter how silly your question may be.

What is the biggest life challenge you faced relative to your educational path?

My biggest life challenge I faced in my educational path was my financial status alongside my parents not speaking English fluently to help me in most aspects of my educational career.

I am so happy and thankful to have been part of GRASP and want to thank my High School GRASP advisor Miriam Tice. I want to thank her for being so genuine, patient and so enthusiastic!
