How did GRASP help you?

GRASP help me pick out my university and also helped me with scholarship opportunities to help make college more affordable, which helped me in all four years at Norfolk State University.

What are you currently doing?

I am attending the University of Florida to obtain a masters in medical sciences with a concentration in Molecular Cell Biology with hopes to go into clinical research.

What educational advice would you give to high school students?

Some advice I would give is to take advantage of the scholarship opportunities that you have at the high school level. A lot of people want to invest in you and you have to take the opportunities.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced?

My biggest life challenge was adjusting to my new adult life. Once I got to college it was a big change for me, but my school made it easier and finding a group of friends to help me as well.
