Jackie Green-August

Jackie Green-August is the GRASP Advisor for Nottoway High School - nottoway@grasp4va.org

Jackie Green-August is new to GRASP this year! Before joining the team, Jackie has enjoyed working as an elementary school principal in Nottoway and Student Engagement Coordinator and Principal in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.  

Jackie attended Longwood University and obtained a B.S. in Early Elementary Education. In addition, she earned an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction coupled with an Administration/Supervision Certification (PK-12) from Longwood University. Jackie completed her studies at Virginia State University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Special Education. 

Currently, she is CEO of PEACE, a nonprofit that empowers families and youth to improve their quality of life. In addition, Jackie enjoys volunteering in the community, reading, and cooking. She is extremely excited to have the opportunity to help students continue their pursuit of post-secondary education.
