Brenda Jackson
Advising Associate
Brenda Jackson began her work at GRASP as an Advisor, and continues to serve as the Advisor for J.R. Tucker High School. She joined the GRASP office team in 2017, initially as a scholarship coordinator and later as an Advising Associate, assisting in the implementation of the in-school advising program.
Brenda earned her B.A. in Health Science and Policy from the University of Maryland and an M.Ed. in Human Development from George Washington University. She retired from the Department of Juvenile Justice, where she worked as a Training and Curriculum Developer. She has also worked in the Adult and Continuing Education Department as a GED instructor for Chesterfield County. Brenda enjoys traveling, reading and especially connecting with people. She is extremely excited to have the opportunity to help students successfully navigate the path to a post-secondary education.
