Jody Rambo

Jody Rambo is the GRASP Advisor for Staunton High School - staunton@grasp4va.org

A creative writing teacher and poet, Jody Rambo spent sixteen years teaching English and writing at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, before moving to Virginia in 2017. Along with her university teaching, Ms. Rambo has offered short courses and workshops for community college, high school, and middle school students in schools and arts outreach programs. Building relationships with students and offering individualized support and encouragement has been the cornerstone of her teaching and work in the community, and so she is very excited for the opportunity at GRASP to help students successfully navigate their next step after high school on their way to a promising future. Ms. Rambo received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Colorado State University, and she lives in Staunton with her husband, daughter, and son.
