Lauren White
Lauren White is the GRASP Advisor for Freeman High School - LWhite@grasp4va.org
Lauren earned her B.A. in Government and American Studies from the College of William and Mary in 2021. The following year, she served in Hopewell as a tutor for AmeriCorps’ Literacy Lab program. As a reading tutor, she worked with fifteen K-3 students to provide one-on-one reading interventions focused on phonemic awareness, decoding, and reading fluency. Lauren loved the opportunity to connect with students, as well as the teachers, staff, and surrounding community. In 2022, she joined the GRASP team as Associate, Advising and Development to continue her pursuit of ensuring educational access and support to all students. She also serves as the GRASP Advisor for Freeman High School.
