Donor Relations and Human Resources

Millie Manley manages GRASP's human resources, participation in the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP), and donor relations. Millie joined GRASP in 2012. Before that, she worked for the Virginia Retirement System and earlier in human resources for what is now Suntrust Bank. Millie has a B.A. in business from Mary Baldwin College. She and her husband Derek have two children; one is a graduate of Longwood University and one is a graduate of Virginia Tech.

With a heavy heart we share the news that beloved long-time employee Millie Manley passed away on January 27th. She had been having health challenges for a few months but the seriousness of her illness was not apparent to us until only recently. She was working just two weeks ago before going into the hospital. Those of us that worked with her are in disbelief. During her 13-year career with GRASP she expertly handled the Human Relations and Donor Relations functions. She was the nicest person yet, represented GRASP extremely well and was a professional. She will be deeply missed.
