Rita Ryan
Rita was born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Dayton in 1992 with a B.S. in accounting and earned an MBA also from the University of Dayton in 1995. She held multiple positions with the Mead Corporation in Dayton, Ohio ranging from internal audit to marketing and sales services. After Rita and her husband Dave Ryan started their family, Rita went to work part time with the University of Dayton marketing their MBA program to the greater Dayton area. As their family grew, Rita and Dave spent time living in Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC and Richmond, VA where Rita’s primary role was at home with their four children. She worked part time in public accounting and remained involved in several community organizations including chairing the school teams portion of the Komen Charleston Race for the Cure, President of the Daniel Island Swim Team Parent Association and the Daniel Island Soccer Academy Booster Club, and President of the School Parent Association. Rita is excited for the opportunity to help students plan for their postsecondary education and career goals.
