Stacey Lawson

Stacey Lawson grew up in Maryland with one older brother. After high school she attended East Carolina University and earned a BS with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Intermediate Education. She also earned a MAed from East Carolina University in School Counseling and am licensed in both North Carolina and Virginia as a K-12 grade counselor. After moving around a bit she landed in Fayetteville, NC where she raised her 2 kids and worked as a school counselor, 13 years at the elementary level and 7 years at the High School level.  In June of 2020 Stacey retired from Cumberland County Schools and moved to Chester to begin her journey as a school counselor in Virginia. She worked as a high school counselor at Hopewell High School until June of 2023. Stacy then decided to retire again and start her journey with GRASP..

When not in North Carolina spoiling her grandson she can be found on the water somewhere on her paddle board, kayak or just enjoying the scenery. She also enjoy crafting and just starting to sell her crafts at various local craft shows.
